Our Story

The Hope Center introduced One World Kitchen pop-up cafes in 2023, featuring meals from around the world including Liberia, Sudan and Morocco.

In 2024, One World Kitchen relaunched as a workforce development program with an exciting new addition: a partnership with EDWINS Leadership & Restaurant Institute and chef Brandon Chrostowski. This 6 month chef entrepreneurship program empowers the newcomer community to take bold steps toward their culinary dreams, equipping them with the skills to thrive in Cleveland’s vibrant food industry.

Today, One World Kitchen regularly hosts pop-up dinners, prepared by the hands of program chef graduates. We set a table, inviting all to come join us in the goodness and joy of our shared humanity through food.
